Williams Rebuild Marks New Phase of Recovery as Homes Rise Across Altadena

Nearly 40 active rebuilding projects signal visible momentum as neighborhoods begin transitioning from plans on paper to homes under construction

After months of planning, permitting, engineering and behind-the-scenes coordination, neighborhoods impacted by the Eaton Fire are entering a new chapter as homes begin rising above their foundations and rebuilding activity accelerates across the community.

Williams Rebuild is currently advancing 37 active rebuilding projects throughout Altadena. Efforts now span every phase of recovery, from homeowner onboarding and design to permitting, foundations, framing, roofing and mechanical installation, reflecting a coordinated rebuilding effort that is moving from planning into visible construction.

The visible transformation marks an important turning point after months of work that largely occurred out of public view. While homeowners and project teams spent countless hours navigating insurance, architecture, engineering, financing, permitting and design decisions, today's construction activity offers the first widespread visual evidence that recovery is gaining momentum across Altadena.

Approximately nineteen homes and accessory structures are in active vertical construction, with framing, roof trusses, roof sheathing, plumbing, HVAC and structural work underway, while additional homes continue progressing through permitting, design and plan review.

The momentum is becoming increasingly visible on streets where multiple neighboring homes are advancing simultaneously. Along corridors including La Paz Road, Altadena Drive, Marengo Avenue and West Terrace Street, multiple rebuilding projects are progressing together, creating visible signs that recovery is extending beyond individual homes to entire neighborhoods.

For Patrice Quishenberry, Vice President of Williams Rebuild and an Altadena native, the progress carries a deeply personal significance.
